Look at Belgo Centraal, although it is in Covent Garden it is only a short walk to Earlham Street from Soho. Good food a wide range of beers and is a fun place to go for a few hours. http://www.belgo-restaurants.co.uk/locations

Tarot - 59 Brewer St. Cheap and very cheerful Japanese restaurant. Saw David Haye in there the other week eating 2 plates of noodles.

we're going to The Angel in the end. Slim to zero chance of getting bummed apparently.

There's a good little bar on Frith Street. Walk past Ronnie Scotts, and its a few yards on, on the left. Go downstairs. Called the Artists Club or some such. Good place for a non tourist beer.

If you are going to Tottenham Court Road pub, there is a blinder nearby, but I'm fooked if I can remember the name. You walk down Tottenham Court Road, toards town, turn right in to a little street, I think the last before the Centre Point junction. There are a couple of Spanish restaurants down there, and round the corner, a tiny pub with lots of sports photoes on the wall. Great Juke bax. I think it got mentioned on here recently.
