I have in the past found forumites both knowledgeable and helpful.

I am stuck with two questions.

Which subsequent Racing Post journalist gave Billy Newnes the kiss of life when he suffered a fall on the gallops in 1983?

Was it David Ashforth, Howard Wright, Tony Morris or Brough Scott.

What did Henry Cecil describe in his autobiography as "the saddest moment of his training career"?

Sacking Kieren Fallon.
Being sacked by Sheikh Mohammed.
Ardross being runner-up in the Arc.
Saddling the first two in the Ascot Gold Cup.

Thanks in advance for any help.

H.Cecil was in tears when Ardross beat Buckskin in the Gold Cup,to this day Henry still says Buckskin is the best horse he's ever had.
