A friend of mine bought "a pot of gold scratchcard " for £2.There are coordinates from a1-a6 through to e1-e6.36 squares in total. You scratch of the panel at the top to reveal your squares and then go to squares underneath to reveal your symbols. He didnt read the steps properly and scratched out the block of squares first before realising his mistake
Upon reading the rules on the back he realised his mistake and scratched of the strip at the top.when he checked he only realised he had won top prize of £50,000!!
What chance of getting paid out with squares other than the ones he should of scratched out also scrayched out?
This is not a wind up.

all you have to do is scratch off the serial code, I had a card once that had several different games on it and won a tenner.

Went to claim and the machine said 55 payout the lady in the shop said I had not scratched off one of the panels.

reminds me of my dads mate that thought you had to get the 3 prizes in a row to win. went through the bins to try find a winner.

okay thanks Arthur but what about the fact there are other squares besides the ones he should have scratched out that have also been scratched out?could they stop payout under the "defacement of card " policy?

Its a winning card if the top row scratched numbers or symbols match..... it doesn't matter if he scratched out all the squares or not..... tell him to take the card to where he bought it and they will confirm if its a winner or not.. all they need is the bar-code and 4 numbers in a little box, though they wont pay out anything over £100. needs to sent the card off to head quarters.
