When I try to play the game (Rome total war gold) at the loading screen of most battles (not all) the game will feeze and a error message will appear telling that one of my display drivers is not working properly and the resolution on my computer changes and the screen turns multi-coloured after I restart my computer everything is restored but when I try to play the game again the same will happen on the loading screens of battles.
I am unable to state the error message as my computer requires a restart after the problem to restore the display driver, but if needed I prompt the error message to appear again and make a note of the error message. I know that in the message it states that the driver ialmrnt5 has stoped working properly and that I need to reboot my computer in order to my driver to restore back to normal.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to**it?

Thanks you.

not sure a beting forum is the best place to ask a specific question like that. but as rome total war is an old enough game, and your laptop/pc is probably much newer and using n operating system that was not around wen the game came out, as well as graphics cards could cause problems. it has worked fine for me on vsta though

My son had a similar problem with a PC game (may have been RTW?). His graphics card was not compatible with the game.

Go on to the games website and look for problems, thats how I found the answer.

You can bring it back to where you bought it as its faulty.
