Not worth it mate, dont come out any better imo. Get yourself to marks and spencers and have a look at their speciality stuffings.

Lovely. In a tray, in the oven for 20 mins.

Grate up some bread, bit of onion, sage and thyme (pref fresh, but dried ok), black pepper, salt, egg to bind it, add a bit of milk if 1 egg is not enough. grease yer ovendish with butter. lob in oven for about 20mins. if you are cooking your meat at the sametime spoon some of the juices over the stuffing. easy and much better than paxo. you can also add in bits of bacon, sausage, pine nuts, chestnuts etc

That's what I'm after Moose, thanks.

I'm fed up with paxo, Treble and wanted to make my own. I've loads of dried herbs and I notice a loaf that's a few days old, I fancy giving it a go.

OK, good luck. I hope it comes out nice. Just keep some paxo in reserve in case you do** it up, which i'm sure you won't.

Get some sausage meat in it as well. Makes a massive difference.

Have tried all the fancy stuffings but end up going back to Paxo Sage & Onion, the definitive.
