I have the pleasure of going up to the frozen north for Xmas with friends. What's it like up the top of the M40 please?

I'm only 20 miles and we've barely been touched with the snow, bad weather.

I'm a mile or two from the city centre and it's frosty and white but all the main roads are clear :) My cul-de-sac is a bit icy underfoot but no probs.
