Instead of giving presents on Xmas day i am going to give everyone a Xmas card with a message inside saying that instead of wasting money on a present this year i have donated the equivalent money to charity. Which charity should say and do you think they will believe me?

Dogs Trust. I give them £20 a month and they send me birthday, Christmas and (rather worryingly) Valentine's cards.

The idea that you should give money to a charity that looks after dogs, when children are dying for a single meal or clean glass of water, I find deeply offensive. Very shameful behaviour, imho.

saving starving children means they grow up to be adults and breed and so there will be more starving children next time the (inevitable) famine comes round.

Dogs are sound as a pound imo.
