cinemas on boxing day

I was going to take the kids to see avatar. That was until I realised its 3 hours long !!

The 3D was amazing imo.

do they still do an interval in long films?

Was in haverford west years ago for New Years Eve and watched the 2nd LOTR and they had an interval.

The story wasnt anything special but visually it was sensational.

Absolutely incredible.

Our local cinema is something out of the past. My wife had a coffee the last time we went. They brought it out to her with a cup and saucer.

Its a bit backwards.
I spoke tro the projectioner a few years ago. He was 82 ish (i asked)
When he did the late show he'd sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag to save driving home in the dark
