He is finnish, FACT.
Report munch man • December 21, 2009 10:57 AM GMT
yes, i feel sorry for him. i think he has been badly treated.
Report Kevin1958 • December 21, 2009 10:59 AM GMT
There is nothing unusual about Woods' inability to keep his dick in his pants. Tens of thousands of sports stars, rock stars, movie stars etc. have behaved in the exact same way without all the righteous moralising from the less talented. Yeah, it's no doubt hard on their wives if they're married but Woods is hardly the first, is he? It wouldn't be news at all if the media hadn't lapped up the idea of him as bland and almost asexual.
Report canaryboy • December 21, 2009 11:00 AM GMT
lmao

deserves everything and worse imo

goes to show how his squeaky clean cultivated image was a complete charade and he's actually a very nasty person
Report infomaniac • December 21, 2009 11:00 AM GMT
If he was white he'd be hailed a hero by the Americans,

much like their beloved Clington.

At least we will not see any of those stupid Accenture ads posted all over Heathrow airport anymore. Truly, Christmas arrived early!
Report slimfast • December 21, 2009 11:02 AM GMT
What amazes me is why these people get married in the first place. He's inevitably going to get all sorts of gash throwing itself at him. If he's not able to turn it down then what's the upside of getting hitched?
Report canaryboy • December 21, 2009 11:02 AM GMT
lol there's certainly a problem when he's such a hypocrite about it

even gave an interview recently saying how important his family was

all done to cultivate that image amd generate more $$$$$$$$$$$$$
Report munch man • December 21, 2009 11:02 AM GMT
it is in man's nature to have sex with as many women as possible. it's marriage that is unnatural.
Report evski • December 21, 2009 11:02 AM GMT
I can't seel sorry for a man who has become a billionaire through playing golf. A man who is married to a swedish model, who has won 14 majors and can have sex with virtually any woman he wants. His life is still pretty **king amazing.
Report canaryboy • December 21, 2009 11:03 AM GMT
isn't he addicted to painkillers too?

and won't go to rehab
Report Kevin1958 • December 21, 2009 11:03 AM GMT
You what? The man is a golfer. For some strange reason, lots of otherwise sensible people pay him lots of money to smash a small ball. I think most of his detractors are just jealous.
Report Kevin1958 • December 21, 2009 11:04 AM GMT
He is also a young man, with a lot more opportunity to stray than is afforded most other young men. no doubt it would have been very nice (especially for his wife) if he hadn't strayed, but he is by no means the first young man so to stray, and he will by no means be the last
Report munch man • December 21, 2009 11:05 AM GMT
i think much of peoples' anger should be directed at the newspapers, sky tv jounos etc. it's these ***** i can't stand.

The Woods story is so tedious. As far as I know nothing is even proven in terms of **ing etc. What I find bizarre is people such as AIG or whomever his sponsor was want to dis-associate with him! craziness the guy is in the limelight more than Jesus and its christmas!

To call him a nasty person or any other derogatives is hardly justified and is just getting involved with the media hype. If i was him id tell evryone to fck emselves, he has more money than he'll ever need, is possibly the best sportsman alive (debate as to best ever) and the world is his oyster. max respect to the man imo
Report Kevin1958 • December 21, 2009 11:09 AM GMT
Yes, I agree. The tone of the story has been set by the media **heads - who have been feeding off this like the **ing vultures they are.

and the tiger statement

I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.

was also because he'd been the perfect husband

the only thing he has done wrong is **ed on his wife. you'd have to be saint not to succumb if beautiful women kept throwing themselves at you. and tiger's never been a saint has he. frankly, i'd be amazed if he hadn't **ed.
Report Kevin1958 • December 21, 2009 11:20 AM GMT
So Tiger Woods has become the social equivalent of the carcas of a dead animal because he was unfaithful to his partner? I find that amazing as I would struggle to find anyone who had never been unfaithful to a partner at some point in their lives.
Report canaryboy • December 21, 2009 11:21 AM GMT

Report munch man • December 21, 2009 11:23 AM GMT
get over it canary. nothing to do with you is it. no point busting a gasket over it.

Report canaryboy • December 21, 2009 11:24 AM GMT
at least jesper was right on the money anyway

Nordegren, 29, began working for the Parneviks as a nanny in 2000. She was first introduced to Woods at the 2001 British Open and they were married in 2004.

"I would be especially sad about it since I'm kind of -- I really feel sorry for Elin -- since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with him," Parnevik said. "We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably need to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time instead of the 3-iron."
Report munch man • December 21, 2009 11:24 AM GMT
personally, kevin, i'd allow him a round dozen. any more and he's just being a **** about it.
Report canaryboy • December 21, 2009 11:24 AM GMT
erm it's nothing to do with any of us actually!

so what's your excuse here?

That is a very PC way of saying 'Get be to Fcked' its none of your business.

And who said he was perfect huband? no one, the point being who cares? As for his image, thats largely manufactured by media and sponsors. However there is only so much you can mask with PR. He is probably a nice enough guy with all the usual faults of a human being. He is being made into the devil for largely un proven misdimenours.

next time he steps on the course he will still eb ahot fave to win which ever event it is and millions of poeple will still idolise him. Its laughable the media attempts to demonise him, especially since once the next scandal comes along he will be forgotten and everyone will want to bask in his warm glow again so to speak.

Im interested to know how a gobby**tail waitress was able to keep her mouth shut till now too plus the X amount of other women, bandwagon being well and truly jumped on.

Only reason id dis-like tiger is cos the rare occassion i bet on golf he loses.

the amount of women you're allowed should rise with your bankroll. this would only be fair and correct as you become more attractive to women the richer you are. billionaires should be allowed one a month i think. any less and you are just suppressing a man's natural urges which always leads to grief.
Report Kevin1958 • December 21, 2009 11:31 AM GMT
In all seriousness. The only mistake tiger has made was getting married - he knew who he was before he did that, and so that is his mistake - how many millions of us have done the same - To shame a man the way we are doing for having sex with the opposite sex , is a little bit rich - he has done more for human kind than all of his judges put together. The man has dignity in the end a dignity that has been compromised if only by himself - but who are we to judge, this society is not capable of judging anything , let alone Tiger woods. I say good luck to him.
Report munch man • December 21, 2009 11:33 AM GMT

it is right easter. there's nothing to say you cannot be a eminent pork swordsman if you're poor as well of course, i'm just saying women are attracted to fabulous wealth and it is unnatural to ask a man not to exploit this.

If he hadn`t cultivated his squeaky clean reputation,it wouldn`t have been such a big deal,to his wife and kids yes,but to the rest of the us no.
