wow ive never peeled carrots. far too much like hard work.
Report The Magic Flea • December 21, 2009 11:58 AM GMT
carrots should be peeled mostly because of the chemicals that are used as pesticides
Report CJ • December 21, 2009 12:47 PM GMT
The pesticides contain all the vitamins and minerals though flea. Eat the skins and you'll have a nice healthy glow (like the kid in the Ready Brek advert).
Report the butterfly collector • December 21, 2009 9:01 PM GMT
put some honey on parsnips then roast em
Report Ronaldinho's dentist • December 21, 2009 9:09 PM GMT
scrub the skins of parsnips and carrots with a nail brush under a running tap, top and tail them, sorted!

great advice, i dont want to become just another number in the high moratlity rate associated with not topping and taling carrots and scrubbing them
Report TheRankingMissP • December 21, 2009 9:13 PM GMT
Substitute vegetable brush for nail brush if you're squeamish.

Report sibaroni • December 21, 2009 9:33 PM GMT
If you are roasting parsnips, do not peel. Lightly scrub.
Report Guesser • December 22, 2009 1:11 AM GMT
i dont eat pesticides, I only eat organic. I will therefore scrub and not peel I think. Bit like spit or swallow innit.
Did you know graves are full of bodies that wont decompose because of all the presrevatives in them from a lifetime of eating them?
