Being honest prices dont look right.......is this legit. If not where do I head for a VFM HD 46" + TV?

What size do you want?

I would go to John Lewis as the 5 year guarantee is an awesome adjunct.

46 inches plus plse? Any suggestions appreciated - havent got the foggiest

Richer Sounds tend to be the cheapest. But John Lewis will generally match RS price and you get 5 year warranty free.

Best price for the G10 UK based is currently very.co.uk, £700 I think but you can get 10% off 1st order at the moment. Problem is that the website constantly says its out of stock (though some people have managed to get orders through, it's just a case of being online at the right time)

Price limit? Use?

Best bet would be to go and take a look at some tvs in a store and decide whether you like the look of plasma or LCD. Personally plasma looks better to me in comparable ranges and is a fair bit cheaper.

Mate just bought a 42" plasma but only got a fairly small front room and TV far too big in that room,
in shop where you've got a lot of TV's and a lot of space, size can be very deceptive,
so unless you've got a large front room or like being very close to your telly,
be careful about the size screen you have. We are buying one next year,
but reckon 37" would be right size for us.

I second the Richer Sounds recommendation. All independent in there and the people there are actually TV/audio geeks so will be able to answer any question. Negotiated a nice price about a yr ago for my TV.

Depends if you are bothered about how the room looks. I'm on the verge of getting a 50" plasma, I considered 42" but after staring at different TVs in the shops for a while 50" suddenly doesnt feel as huge as it 1st appears. And that seems to be the consensus, seem to be a fair few who have wished they had opted for a 50" over a 42" when they've got used to it but rarely the other way round. You'd want to be at least 6 feet away from a 50" though
