Waylands Smithy from the White Horse brewery now
Report Prepared • December 20, 2009 12:25 PM GMT
According to legend, a traveller whose horse has lost a shoe can leave the animal and a silver coin on the capstone at Wayland's Smithy. When he returns next morning he will find that his horse has been re-shod and the money gone.

good to see I'm not alone tippling today, afternoon all and seasons greetings.

Next up a Black Sheep Riggwelter

Riggwelter: from the Old Norse words "rigg", meaning back or shoulder and "velte", to overturn. If a sheep rolls over onto its back and can't get up without help, local Dales dialect says it is rigged or riggwelted

mysupermarket.co.uk is good to keep track of offers @ Sainsburys/Tesco/Asda

Got a few Hens Tooth in for Christmas, Old Crafty Hen is a nice drop though

Btw, last week Lidl had an offer of £1 a bottle on Marston's Pedigree, Wychwood Hobgoblin & Shepherd Neame's Spitfire & Bishops Finger - not sure whether it's still on

Just enjoying a Bombardier now :)
