More central heating advice please.
This happens every year for the last 3. As soon as the outside temperature drops to around freezing the boiler drops its water pressure very quickly. It will go from 2 bar to zero in less than 2 days. I am topping it up twice per day to stop it from doing this but I think it will follow usual pattern and packup. The first time they changed a valve, the second they changed a board. I now think that these were the effect of another problem that is endemic with the freezing temperatures. Note that it is not being used anymore in this weather in terms of hours or temperature output, but obviously it is working harder from a relative ambient temperature. Any ideas ? It is a Valliant and there are no leaks on the system, water and heating affected the same btw. |
