why would you want more than 250 quid cash a day?
Report Paulie Walnuts • December 18, 2009 9:39 AM GMT
And who on chit-chat has that kind of money anyway?
Ask on the horse racing forum, the smart minds with their fat wallets will tell ya

I can get out £500 a day but I haven't used a UK ATM for more than 5 years.
Report Wedged • December 18, 2009 9:42 AM GMT
I can get £300 so obviously there are different criteria, I assume you can ask them to raise the limit.
Report Hoss • December 18, 2009 9:42 AM GMT
Mines £500 too. Has been for years now.

You need more than 250 for a good day out with the lads if racing is involved.

I can get, for some strange reason, 610 Euros a day!
Report Paulie Walnuts • December 18, 2009 9:57 AM GMT
Yer Man that's because it's exactly the equivalent of £1500 stg
Report cunnybobbler • December 18, 2009 9:57 AM GMT
250 doesnt go very far ya know. plus theres no cash machines within half an hours walk. if i want a grand for something i need to do an hours round-trip walk four days in a row, its pretty ridiculous.
Report lmfao • December 18, 2009 9:59 AM GMT
mines £450 onscreen - but they never let me have more than £400- and i'm loaded
Report everythings gone green • December 18, 2009 10:03 AM GMT
Cunny, if you go to the ATM at 23.59 you can get £500 over 2 days.
Report Paulie Walnuts • December 18, 2009 10:04 AM GMT
then you can get a whack over the back of the head
Report cunnybobbler • December 18, 2009 10:10 AM GMT
to be honest ive done that a few times. though the trouble is ive got to make sure i get there before midnight, so im usually about 6 minutes early. sounds nothing but you dont half feel and look pretty weird stood outside a cash machine for 6 minutes waiting for midnight!

I wanted £2k for new theatre/ tv system, anyway I took oout 2 x £500, on 3rd day it blocked me, I rang the bank who explained that they had stopped payments because of unusual spending pattern.

The thing is I couldn't argue because if someone had nicked my card they would have been saving my money.
Report Trading Places • December 18, 2009 10:44 AM GMT
go inside the bank and ask for said amount..duh
Report sparkmaster. • December 18, 2009 11:09 AM GMT
If you have to pay someone THAT much surely you'd be better off just tossing yourself off.

My bank is always packed, so it's easier to just use ATM in passing, but thanks for your advice.

Better to keep your cash in the house, let me know your address and i will pop round and show you where to hide it.

They have it set low for security... obviously you dont want someone mugging you and taking your whole bank!
Report Nova Sicko • December 18, 2009 11:50 AM GMT

if someone stole your card it would take 3 days for you to realize?
Report Ray Burn • December 18, 2009 4:24 PM GMT
You can ask for it to be increased in the branch where your account is held. At least that's how it worked a few years back when i upped mine.
Report Hoss • December 18, 2009 4:33 PM GMT
M o m, yes it's possible. I often go weeks without having to do any banking.I don't believe in wallets so my card is in a ''safe'' place, and I certainly have no compulsion to look at it daily.

I hope this helps :)

If you wanted 2k for a new entertainemnt system why would you not just pay by debit/credit card?
Report Ibrahima Sonko • December 18, 2009 10:00 PM GMT
£500 is the normal.
Report Birchola • December 18, 2009 10:00 PM GMT
If you upgrade to a Premier account with Barclays you can withdraw up to £500 I think? Might be higher.
