I hate Cowell and his x factor mess but surely pushing a pile of US thrash Metal on the uk at christmas is mad.
Not really. The track itself (Killing In The Name of...) is the antithesis of manufactured X-Factor pop factory garbage. I couldn't think of a more apt ditty to represent the anti Cowell brigade. I actually bought a copy myself... |

I hope anything other than X-Factor wins, be it Rage Against the Machine or anyone else. I'm not a fan of RATM, and it's hardly revolutionary being signed to Sony, but good luck to them. Whether those buying RATM have 'fallen for it' or not, it's still better than buying into the whole x-Factor boll0x.
That said, I haven't even heard the X-Factor song and it might be the modern day Like a Rolling Stone for all I know! |

Its not :) what gets me is how appalled all of the people involved in XFactor are calling this a "stunt" as if the winner of the X Factor now has a divine right to get the xmas number 1. The hypocracy is obviously lost on them as they're whole show is basically a stunt lasting many months, drawing in the idiots so they actually care about these glorified karaoke singers to the point where they buy their awful bland records by the hundreds of thousands. |
