Saw him at Big Chill 18 months ago and he was excellent.

Since I saw his own show I have strangely gone off him and now cannot stand the bloke.

Ive seen most of them , i rate ross noble highly .I saw McIntyre 3 yr ago and knew he would break thru, i like Jason Manford too.My fav is probably Paul Tonkinson and watch out for a Doncaster lad who i saw last week called Gary Marshall who was hilarious.

I used to watch live comedy.

The thing is, most comics are funnier live than on telly. Nothing to do with their material: it's the crowd. If the audience laughs, you at least smile.

And that's betting without what the geeks call cognitive dissonance.

Sitting at home, alone, for free, we demand higher standards!

Fair enough, thers just something Im not sure about. Each to their own. Is it me, or are some of them hilarious in the clubs, but then , once getting well know, lose their spark?
