Yesterdays comedians weren't all brilliant to be fair.
Billy Connolly my ar.se. Jack Dee, Peter Kay, Ricky Gervais and Frank Skinner are all pretty good imo.... and I know I will get slated for saying it. Many of them are over exposed which is why people get fed up of them I suppose. Macintyre is a c.unt though of course, don't know russell howard. |

To get a laugh these days it seems all you have to charge about the stage and swear in a loud voice.
Probably says more about the audience than the "comic". |

i rate ross noble

Bring back Bernard Manning
By:
I agree - you could run a small town for months by burning him.
By:
Dara O Briain;s Standup is superb. Real audience involvement and what not, 99% of women 'comediens' should be shot

Lee Mack cracks me up.
Jason Manford made me laugh too.Especially his babe channel/robinho routine. |
By:
i agree the manford routine was funny, heard it on 747 flying back from vegas, and considering i'd been puking most of the flight it humoured me.

By:

By:
Macintyre
Noble Howard Frankie** The list is endless.Hopeless the lot of them, wouldn't know timing if it hit then in the face. |

If you get a chance go and see Reginald D Hunter, definitely one of the best around for the last couple of years
By:
at any moment in time there are only a finite number of jokes, most of which have been used up by comedians since the roman times, so those around nowadays have a much harder time finding new material...therefore they are generally less funny. In 10 years time, unless lots of funny stuff happens, comedians will be in big trouble. The same theory can be applied to modern music and films.
