and lucrative business and she wants me to run the whole flippin thing at some point! scarey monsters! and shes a very talented painter...works in oils :) did I spell lucrative wrong...sacked already!

Excellent GC, nice to hear about a bit of good fortune. :)

You never know, your next big break could be just around the corner. An artist chap I know had a little gallery shop in my village for years, still has actually. All of a sudden his paintings rocketed in popularity and he is now internationally recognised. In fact, I did hear he was the third most successful living artist.
Report Galloping-Carrot • December 15, 2009 8:37 PM GMT
wow! good on him! sometimes we have to be patient...but Im still painting and enjoying it..which is why I started in the first place...hows you? still pokering?
Report Pokermonster • December 15, 2009 8:41 PM GMT
Yes GC, still playing and doing quite well thankfully. :)

I have just remembered you live in Devon, too, of course. You must have heard of the artist I was referring to GC. Paul Kenton is his name. Some of his pictures fetch a thousand quid just for the prints!

Unbelievable really. He used to sell originals for less than a hundred a few years ago.
