I'm spending the next few days in Gibraltar, warm, sunny and only a few hours away. Come down and join me, it's British so no need to worry about poor exchange rates (bring your Sterling). See you for tea in Casemates Square (al fresco) at 16.00hrs.

Took the dog out about an hour ago. Sun shining but very cold and no wind. Very bracing and thoroughly enjoyable; and the air felt so clean. To have variety in the form of the seasons can be quite nice imo.

i can just about see the point of going to Gibralter in summer (hotter than Britian but nice to stay within ones comfort zone of Britishness) but why on earth woudl you go to Gibralter in December ?

Can only bring back 250g of tobacco from Gibraltar due to tax laws evidently, however a £5 litre of Smirnoff will be travelling with me and 200 Lucky Strikes.

Interesting fact: Spaniards smuggle tobacco and alcohol out of Gib. into Spain because it's so cheap here.

Gibralter best avoided all year round. Wise Spaniards gave it away to us.

Today must be the coldest day of the year in Gib. It was almost frezzing crossing the runway this morning. It's a bit of a schock to the system as last week was t-shirt weather.
