When I went to the US first I was both amazed and disgusted to see that almost all chocolate bars had some peanut content .
It must be some incredible lobby to have this hold over the chocolate makers ...... or is it that the collective taste of a whole population can be influenced such that they actually come to want and expect peanut flavour to be inserted into all kinds of confectionery ? I have nothing against peanuts er se -but don't like having them forced on me when seized by an urge to devour some chocolate. |

All American chocolate tastes like sh*t, apparently this is because it's made specially not to melt on the shelves but they could stick it in a cooler surely.

When I went to Hawaii I wanted to taste a Hershey Bar, just because I'd heard of them so many times in old tv programmes.
It didn't taste anything like chocolate to me, just a gooey, over-sweet mess. |
