I have met some good ones, but it is surely the number one jobsworth industry. Company round here does a service between villages, subsidised by the council, but another company owns the actual bus stops, and they are a rival company and don't allow the other one to advertise their service - so no timetables up at the bus stop. You have to get hold of a copy from a driver or use the internet. MOst people that use this service are elderly and spent their lives picking broad beans and sprouts out in the fields - they're unlikely to be surfing the net ffs

and if youre talking about ignorance...how about passengers getting on with ipods/mobile phones/scoffing takeaways and expecting the driver to be a mind reader.

I use the bus up to six time a day,so i have seen numerous occasions of bad service from the driver,i am personally involved in an argument at the the moment with my local service.
