Missed the thread.
Work the railways sometimes. Never had a suicide in front of me but my colleauges get about 3 a year. Had some crazy stories. |

The whole thing needs government regulation, have designated areas for people too jump onto the tracks.
Also have specially designed trains and services to deal with situation, it would require tracks to be built going from each station to the nearest morgue or hospital, or at least as close to those venues as practically possible. It wouldn't be to difficult to attach some sort of collection device to the front of these special trains so that the bodies could just pile up at the front of the train and the train driver would have no need to stop. He could just continue on collecting his human cargo until he delivers them to the final destination. Maybe at 5.55pm every monday night you'd hear an announcement at each station like " Train to slab city leaving in 5 minutes, jumpers will you please take your positions, i repeat, jumpers please take your positions". Only a matter of time before they pursue this idea imo. |
