What a likeable bloke.Looks well for 75 .Loved it when he told the tale about him and his mum walking down the hospital corridor and seeing the woman walking towards them whispered to young alan, see this woman ,shes tried to commit suicide 3 times....and then said to her "Oh Hello" with a big grin as they walked past her.How he told it was a classic.

Genius. An absolute delight. He is a bit like that Nigel Slater (chef) in that he is always engaging even when talking absolute** The sort of man that would have made this country great if they had been put up as starts instead of the vaccuos lot we have.
