Today Greetings

Buenos dias = good day
Buenas tardes = good afternoon
Buenas noches = good night

Notice that "dia" is masculine, hence buenos &
"tardes/noches" are feminine, hence buenas

¿cómo se llama usted?

Formal way to say "What do you call yourself"

Note the clever usage of the inverted question mark to indicate the start of the question.

The double ll is pronounced similar to the English Y

CO MO SAY YAH MO OOSTED

¿cómo te llamas? = the same, only informal

el cartero tiene suerte = the postman is lucky (he has luck)

tiene = he/she/it has or you have
tengo = i have
tienen = they have
tenemos = we have

Sorry D+

Veo, pero tengo teclado inglés sólo

I see, but i have an English Keyboard only.

En Español, the adjective always follows the noun e.g. teclado inglés
"White wine" becomes "Vino Blanco"
Use "Character Map" for unusual symbols. find it doing a Windows search.
