if 108 is writeen "hundred and eight" then 1,000,000,008 is "billion and eight".

Sorry, after checking 108 is written "one hundred and eight" and 1,000,000,008 is written "one billion and eight".
The answer is eight billion if you don't agree take up your arguement with the Daily Mail.
