Go to windows menu - computer - uninstall programs and select Norton, get rid of it.

I'm coming to the end of my norton sub and intend to rid myself of it as I'm sure it hogs memory anyway. As I understand it I need anti virus, anti spyware and a firewall. Is there a free program that does all 3 and possibly more?

Tw Ton Ted....go and buy Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS)...it comes with all you require BUT there is no one stop shop that'll sort out every malware problem....KIS goes a hell of a long way though.
