amazon...ok...theres some really annoying cuts in there apparently, mostly because the beeb are too tight to pay for music rights, 2 specials in particular have been murdered by the cuts. id rather have the pukka episodes but i havent got uk gold and realistically the uncut originals arent going to get released so 26 discs for a nifty, cant whack it imo. :)

great price, and the box set is a nice collection, well presented, i start buying the dvds seperatley when they were first released, wish i hung on for the box set.

yeh ive bought it already, it was about 90 quid last time i looked. obviously the cuts putting people off buying it. just watched the first episode.

Have all the old episodes from UK Gold on vcr, as well as all the series and specials on individual DVD's

that doesnt include any of the specials, which were probably the best ones. all the later episodes are counted as specials so not in this set. someone says in the review theyre uncut, i dont know but the main cuts appear to be from specials anyway and they arent in this set so i doubt theres much difference.

have to agree cunny, the specials are the best ones, jolly boys and hull and back to name a few
