i spent the afternoon putting my tree up and other such festive things, now i'm going to sit back with a few cold ones and watch the two series back to back.

ive never seen miranda but i have heard good things, but even though i have never seen i could feel full confident saying it's not as good as early doors

early doors sh1ts on Miranda - lke others have said can see the jokes coming from a mile off in Miranda. the missus doesnt tho , women must be thick and easily humoured

got the box set last christmas seen that it totally past my bye when it was on tv. saw a few threads on here about it and decided to buy it.....a great little sitcom that has the ability to bring a tear to the eye on a few occasions

an absolute diamond of a comedy that never got near the publicity it deserved
the tragedy is they are making no more - I have to say it sticks in my craw a wee bit when you get total shiit programmes commissioned for series after series and then genuine laugh out loud comedy gold like this gets cut in its prime. Maybe the writers think if we stop it after so few episodes we'll have a legacy but surely you should give the fans what they want ie more series. oh and Miranda is garbage btw |

I liked it too, really well written and with some realistic pub characters. I still smile when i remember the Craig Cash character being the dj at the pub :)

Great characters, acting and genuine laugh out loud moments. |

in a way i'm glad they made no more as 2 of my fav ever shows fools and horses and auf weidershen just had to go on too long which leaves a slight bitter taste in the mouth.
there is only so much you can do within the confines of one setting and therefore it will live long in the memory as one of those programmes that went out on top :) |

that's the thing, at two series, they never made a bad episode and it will always be great but you want to see more, and if they keep going after a while it will become stale, the last three episodes of only fools were well below normal standard, and the last royle family xmas special was garbage
