I have a circotherm oven. Over the last few days, it has started to make a very loud, annoying rattling/banging sound when on.
What could it be?

You've put your Fray Bentos pie in the washing machine. Hope this helps.

Umm.

If you go on youtube there are so video's of how to undertake some 'simple' repairs. To effect a lot of the repairs you will need to get to the back of the oven, and maybe remove doors etc. There are 'tricks' to doing this, which are explained on the tutorials. You can also try posting on some of the trade forums but unless your a 'dab hand' I would caution do-it-yourself on electrical appliances.

The cost of repairs is so expensive that you might consider a replacement, rather than shelling out the £150 or so for the supply and fit of a replacement fan/motor/coil (as that is what it sounds like it could be)
