you think these**bags know or would even care if there were czapital punishment in this country?
Report get in there gamsty! • December 7, 2009 5:32 PM GMT
You would think it would make a slight difference on their attacking ideas. Even if it didn't were still getting rid of them. Only positives there.

Squalid, unhygenic, hideous prisons with brutal guards are whats needed. You wouldnt get a PS3 in a Vietnamese prison.

Yeh thats why the prisons need to be a place to dread and for much longer.
Report get in there gamsty! • December 7, 2009 5:36 PM GMT
much longer sentences i mean. They say they can't find anymore room, just squeeze more in each cell. Even build new prisons i'd rather that then millions spent on oil wars anyway.

Teaching how terrible violence is, and the suffering it causes to victims and their families/friends, to children, and through media, instead of computer games and films and TV depicting the fun of shooting/killing/maiming, might be a good move. The nerds and marketers making and promoting this stuff have a bit to answer for.

They don't realise how wrong what they're doing is.

Really tough prisons - not capital punishment, but prisons with a very strict regime, no TV, basic food rations, no rehabilitation facilities for the worst and repeat offenders, so that the message that crime - especially violence - is wrong, and the penalites for committing it are severe.

Studyform,

Some good points in there mate but i have to disagree on the video games/movies thing. I dont think these have any influence whatsoever on people of a sound mind.

So much low life about, makes me sick :(
Report get in there gamsty! • December 7, 2009 6:28 PM GMT
i agree with jimmy, enjoyed alot of both and never attacked anyone. Although possibly could contribute to an already sick mind.

If they have influence on people with an unsound mind, then there can still be serious problems, jimmy. In the same way that because some Pit-Bulls attack children it doesn't mean they all will.

It goes without saying that ordinary respectful, sensible people don't commit these crimes.

it actually got investigated by colonel grossman in the book psychology of killing and troops are trained on simulators very similar to computer games as it removes the natural inhibitors that stop us killing

basically desensitises us

Juts read about a fella aged 50 out with his wife at 1 am who got attacked by 6 lads aged 16-22 and 3 girls aged 17-22.

As if 9 of em wasn't enough, the girls fetched some bottles from a nearby bottle bank to give to the lads to arm themselves. The wife was screaming as they attacked him and he died later in hospital.

Merry fackin Christmas.

Too many people have become desensitised to killing/ extreme violence in the last 20 years or so. We should definitely shoot them all.

young people have always been like that, the difference is now theres no punishment. they would be scared if prison was a real punishment believe me, these ppl are cowards thats why they hang around in groups. like other ppl say ps2s and tv isnt really a punishment, its better than their homelife. its ridiculous.
