Jessica Ennis - only has to beat about a dozen other women Jenson Button- the cars the star David Haye- beats a freak for the WBABC title Andrew Strauss - not even british Beth Tweddle - too goofy Tom Daley - diving no more than a pastime for gays Mark Cavendish - wins the TDF and will get my vote Philips Oduwu - hop step and jump says it all Ryan Giggs - bit like giving an Oscar to an old actor who hasnt won one before Andy Murray - win a grand slam first ffs |

i admit the welshman and the scottsman looka little out of place. as, at a push, does the isle of mansman, but the other 7 are proper english and proper world champions.

Giggs should get some sort of services to sport award, he has been a truly brilliant footballer but hardly an appropriate winner to get this award for what its worth, which really isn´t that much. Button will no doubt win it but far too short at evens or whatever to back it with confidence, must be better even money chances about.
