going to my sister's house, where we'll have a big family gathering... loads of nice food and drink, followed by proper old fashioned board games, culminating in a extremely competitive session of the really nasty horseracing game :)

Depravity, alcohol and turkey sandwiches. Plus obviously watching the King George and then Villa twot Arsenal.
|
|
By:
Arsenal twot Villa you mean?
I remember the boxing day game last season - you should have been 6-0 up at half time. We somehow scored 2 then threw a 2 goal lead away :( Ruined my christmas. |

Tevez is God
You can put the finger up and call me names as much as you like, but you're still PETTY! |

Indeed, Zat Knight saved the day. And you scraped a spawny 1-1 the season before. With a bit of luck you soon won't have any players left and Wenger will be in goal.

Family revelry at folks with big family, very competitive Who wants to be a Millionaire quiz which my dad always wins (and my mum acts as Mr Tarrant for fear of being humiliated). Arguments and bragging rights aplenty amongst sibblings (5 of us!)
Then have to drive 200 miles to drop my daughter off at my exes on Boxing Day :( Scoot back up to watch Liverpool play v Wolves. See friends, get drunk and then lock myself in New Years eve playing poker in my undercrackers. Oh and loads of quality grub! If I am feeling christmassy I may make my once a year pilgrimage to mass, stick £20 in the collection to apease him upstairs :) |

Xmas day for me
8:00am - Up out of bed, downstairs for a cup of tea 8:30am - Open my presents 8:31am - present opening finished 8:32am - Clean up wrapping paper 9am - Fish around the house for about 150 batteries. Followed by some toast 12pm - Drink copious amounts of alcohol in the front room watching Mary Poppins. Can only watch one channel as the remote has sacrificed it's batteries earlier in the day and i'm too tired to get up. Meanwhile Mum's in the kitchen stuffing a big bird 3pm - Eat dinner, drink wine, pull crackers, sit in a dopey paper hat etc etc.. 5pm - Crash out for an hour. 6pm till bed - Alcohol, sing songs, dad will get the guitar out, Buzz quiz competition, singstar competition, more alcohol, cheeselets and twiglets, then finally collapse into bed. As our family is all together there will inevitably a massive row at some point, probably revolving around my dad's flatulence and his insistence on blamng it on my nan. Not sure when this will be though, but i'm guessing after dinner. |
