By:
is their an answer to this?
By:
Casdon soccer from them 2nd league toystore of Woolworths (own brand Winfield sports goods?) still better than subuteor and you couldnt lost the spring mounted players.
By:
I thought it was battling tops myself
But no I do not have the definitive answer |
By:
Speedy pro - you might be thinking of chad valley football - casdon had the wee men that turned - you operated the game with two dials.
By:
I was indeed, chad valley thats the woolies brand. Good idea that you cant lose the players with casdon too.

I bought it for £12 on ebay last week - my nephew chucked the Wii for it - played 3 hours non-stop.

Was the game called Striker where you used to press down on the footballers head and he would kick the ball ?

The Pinball Wizard had such a supple wrist.

Anyone remember the Arnold Palmer golf set? You had a mini Arnie on a stick and you took his shot for him - hitting a tiny ball..
Whetted my appetite for the EA PGA Golf on Sega megadrive which came out many years later. |
By:
^ I remember it. A mate had it (although I think it was originally his Dad's). It was called Arnold Palmer's Pro Shot Golf & came with greens, bunkers & so on that you could set up. You shoved different clubs 'up' his arm if memory serves - he was roughly 'Action Man'-sized :)
By:
LOL Alex that's the one.
By:
I had one of them HH - with the interchangeable clubs, totally useless, but fun all the same.
By:
In fact I think it was like a golf club with a mini Arnie at the bottom, and you put your finger in a hoop and pulled upwards to make him strike the ball, which was like a subbuteo ball iirc.
By:
That's it Study. It was certainly useless apart from the putting mode, but it was fun and you could vary the holes since you had movable tees, greens, bunkers etc.
