op and recovery takes less than an hour. bit sore for the 1st few days so make sure you got some pain killers handy. the cut will be a few inches long and the stitches will come out within 7-10 days.

SNOOCH they will let you back out after you have passed water.
By:
the reason why you have to pass water for after any op is that this is the most likely time you would faint, because when you pass water your blood pressure drops
By:
so i will be in tilll i**s, FFS
By:
yep, they wont let you out until then
By:
so try and get has much water down you as you can after coming back from the recovery room
By:
and with any luck you will be in by 7-30am and out by 5pm

By:
nothing to worry about i cant remember a thing, i was only 4 years old tho

Whats a hernia, seriously i have no idea.
By:
A hernia is protrusion of an organ or the muscular wall of an organ through the cavity that normally contains it. A hiatal hernia occurs when the stomach protrudes upwards into the mediastinum through the esophageal opening in the diaphragm.HTH :)

I used to do loads of thes. Inguinals are easy peasy and you shouldn't have any problems. You mustnt lift anything for a few weeks and mustnt drive for a few days. I used to do most under a local anaethetic and valium. If the patient was private, he would get some valium too! :)

I just popped in to plaice a massive lay, and now it been successful I'm off. Just wanted to help out my fellow BetFairians with some inside (the diaphragm) information!
