Didn't know you could buy these. Been paying £10 for black ink cartridges, and saw this refill pack in Sainsbury's for £5. Compatible with 1,800 printers and enough ink for up to NINE refills. Seems too good to be true. It's got syringe, needle, ink bottles and instructions, which I haven't read yet. Anyone used them?

Used them for years on my old epson before I smashed it to bits with a hammer.

I don't mind a bit of ink on my fingers if I'm saving £8.50 per cartridge.

Some printers are capable of detecting if you are using re-filled or re-manufactured cardtridges. They may then give error messages and 'refuse' to print. Google your make and model number, to see if there are any issues with re-filling or re-man replacements. Empty original inkjet cartridges often have a value, so don't chuck 'em away. Do a history search on eBay to see if empty ones have been sold in the past.

Buy a cheap Epson if you print a lot. Cartridges are around £1 each on ebay, much more economical to what your doing and will pay itself back in no time.
