i've often seen the signs at my local zoo for sponsoring an animal but they never seem to mention what one is sponsoring the animal to do.
ridiculous. |
By:
I changed supplier. You are right. I wouldn't sponser in a zoo, they are hideous places. I apologise. I willtake a bunch of carrots.

One of my sons Xmas presents is a sponsorship of Oliver the Barn Owl at some sort of sanctuary place in Gloucestershire.
The photograpgh and DVD of Oliver turned up yesterday. He wanted a real Barn Owl having seen them at the falconry centre at Woodlands in Devon recently. Next best thing we thought so I hope he will like it. |
By:

DWD, fair play. I will let you know when we sponser another animal. I am gracious.
By:
You are probably correct MW , as he even had ideas of what he would do with it when we were out, i.e "it could sit on the cross-bar when I'm playing football" .
The mind of an 8 year old eh . Anyway he now realises he can't have a real one so it won't be a problem. |
By:
Has he seen 'Kes'?
By:
Cupra, I think you should go and throw yourself off a cliff for the way you treated that poor donkey
By:
ONCE A MONTH AT OUR SHOPPING PRECINT ,A MAN AND LADY BRING ABOUT 12 DIFFERENT OWLS ,AND THE OWLS SIT ON PERCHES ,AND YOU CAN HAVE YOUR PHOTO TAKEN WITH THEM ,THE OWLS JUST SIT THERE,
YOU CAN ALSO GIVE A DONATION FOR THEIR OWL SANCTUARY |
By:
No point CUPRA he wouldn't know who Bobby Charlton is
By:
I sponsored a Sloth last year. It still hasn't finished the 5km Fun Run and so is yet to collect.
By:
The Potter films have a lot to answer for. The number of people getting Owls as pets has gone up and they arent suitable for most people. A sponserhip of one /visits to the Owl centre is a far better idea.
By:
Flea - I will phone Mr Lazerenko and see if he is free.
DWD, I do donate to the RGT and various offshoots. Is that okay in your world? |
