ive just had a 10 minute 'conversation', with a malaysian woman from the fraud prevention department. she wanted to check if a payment i made via switch to the inland revenue, with the reference of my name, was fraudulent. the thing was, it took me 5 minutes to understand what the feck she was saying and when i did, i then asked her if she thought the transaction was fraudulent, bearing in mind the reference was my name! still its not just the natives who are thick, i went through the welsh call centre to be told the reason the call was flagged was because it was my first payment to the inland revenue - err, wrong, taffy boy. it s the 8th - they have been made every month since may.
im away to nat west - alledgedly they dont have foreign call centres. thats as good a selling point for a bank account as saying a bank saying cash a cq up to 500 quid and we'll give u 500 quid, absolutely free!!!!
