been having problems mainly with this site (others seem to work fine) am having a hang time of about 1 1/2 seconds between placing bet and it appearing
anyway thought i would try a system restore -done this a few times and it keep coming back saying
error system restore did not change anything.
so thought would load firefox so went throught it all rebooted but this didnt load at all
apart from getting a new comp is their anyway to return the computor to when it was bought?? and try from scratch.

format and re-install Windows (after backing up your docs/photos/music etc)

Do a system restore to as far back as possible.

hang on. this is not a windows issue i don't think. Try using another Internet browser (Chrome, IE, Safari, Opera) before wheeling out the backups and restore discs. |

club it wont do system restore every time ive tried it ,it comes back nothing changed. windows vista

u say it won't do system restore cos nothings changed....how can you tell nothings cxhanged ?...is it because the browser still acts funny ? System restore aint gonna**that.

swearbox it comes up with a red cirle with a white cross and says system restore did not change anything have even put in own restore point from april with no change

one thing you could try is to start your comp in safe mode (tap on the f8 key when it's starting up and choose 'safe mode with networking')...open up your browser and see if betfair responds differently (quicker) than in normal mode...if it works as you'd expect then you've probs got some malware issue that needs attending to....

you choose safe mode with networking from the menu that will appear after you're done tapping on f8...

cheers for the help have played around uninstalling then installing opera worked but not able to post on forum so uninstalled that then tried to reload firefox and it seems to be working fine
