As of a month or so ago I have one, it's going much better than anticipated. Give me a few months and I hope to give my company the finger.

Anyway, I digress. I was just wondering at what point it becomes viable to have the postman come do a pick up and get a franking machine etc rather than traipse down to the post office every day?

And surely I can get some sort of bulk discount, at present I am sending everything out uninsured for the full value cos it is so expensive otherwise - hope I've got the odds right on this one.

Any advice or stupid comments welcome ;)

Selling action sports associated electronics - think head cams, bike computers etc - imported from the far east. So parcels are fairly light at 500-700g but worth about £100+

For Pete's sake get them picked up.

I'm sick and tired of waiting in the post office queue behind some spotty internet tycoon and his sack of 150 small parcels - all recorded delivery please.

generally they will collect if you send over 5,000 items per year ....there are various schemes and discounts availiable ...you can get a rough idea from the royal mail website

The Royal mail sales team will fall over themselves to offer deals because business isnt great and they are on commission. You should get decent offers and they will collect if you can prove you will move a lot of units giving them plenty of business.
