The simplicity of Theydon Bois station was always a pleasure to exit.

A man could then enjoy a relaxed stroll to the pub and not be purchased a free drink by Rod the Mod when he was at the bar.

amazing how many times he forgot his wallet

You're not wrong there.

I also love the eternally confusing exit choices of Old Street. Always a pleasure to walk miles out of your way there

Amen to those Old Street sentiments. I ended up having to get a taxi to a place that turned out to be about 200 yards away from the exit last time I emerged there.

I was in the lift at Covent Garden and Bamber Gascoigne stood next to me, I don't think he had washed in a week.
Report a bitofinterest • December 2, 2009 8:45 PM GMT

It's terrible how the drink has ruined poor Bamber 'Gazza' Gascoigne

How is that perpetually naff tube station Earl's Court behaving itself this century?
Report Slippy Blue • December 2, 2009 8:53 PM GMT
Didn't know he was like that Alun, he certaintly looked a bit disorganised for want of a better word and didn't smell that good either.
