What sort of numbskill what do it now? Used to be a case of "join up and see the world" now "join up, go to war, maybe get killed" all for about £22K per year. You must be havin a laugh i say

why should everyone be forced to go and fight (possibly die) for what. They would be better pulling the troops out. Could be put to better use sorting out Britain's inner citys

Everyone isn't. Soldiers are. It's kinda part of the deal that you might have to fight at some point, otherwise you're essentially being paid to be on holiday.
Now you CAN of course judge that some causes are more worth fighting for than others. |

Plenty of youngsters go straight from school into the armed forces from north and west Norfolk due to the lack of work opportunities.
