From these clues:

Clue 1 - the film has a strong connection to something widely reported that happened this week.

Clue 2 - it has the name of a 1980s popstar in the title.

Clue 3 - It has a connection with Sci fi / Outer space

Clue 4 - The film title quite obviously changes a number for something intangible

Clue 5 - The film's most famous scene (aside from the previously mentioned murderous dwarf) involves levitation and cheap jewellery

Clue 6 - It has a girl's name in the title

Clue 7 - The film features dance sequences and weaponary that neither stabs or shoots

Clue 8 its a very well known film

Clue 9 it has a great cast

Clue 10 its directed by one of the top directors on earth

Clue 11 its got a great soundtrack

And finally, Clue 12 In one scene a scarecrow or strawman calls a dwarf "shorty" and a guy says that to do so drives him f***ing mental so he tears the strawman to bits

This was a clue too, ( if it's not a wind-up )

It starts with the letter A, ends with the letter E, and is more than three words long.

watched amelie a cuple of times and some of the clues dn't add up with it. I can remember a knome that travels the world and a little bloke in a cafe whos a bit odd and the fact the film is a girls name starting in a and ending in e. but that's it really connection wise
