Really stupid sci-fi stuff that treats the audience like they're total imbeciles, like the melting of the ice caps creating a 'Waterworld', when that would only raise sea levels 200 ft.
How about the creature in Alien transforming from something the size of a ferret to a 7 ft monster in a few hours, or the fact that they couldn't just blow the **err away with gunfire was because it had 'molecular acid' for blood which would have eaten through the hull of the ship? Yeh, right. |
