well from my experience

nothing, he did get a £200 fine though, but it was more than a hit on the face, it was a full battering

How hard did he hit her? What were her injuries? Was there any provocation? How long did it take her to report the incident?

all that doesn't actually matter

that boy only got a £200 fine, because he had a new girlfriend and wasn't deemed violent according to the new girlfriend

surprised this has even gone to court. with no previous it'd be a warning and treated as a domestic case.

ask tiger woods.

you still need to go to court for a fine

tbh punter that's what im thinking, she's hoping he gets worse but i get the feeling her solicitor is trying to let her down slowly

re injuries, two punches to the face, he was drunk and got fist happy when they were on a night out, brusing to face etc, unprovoked

to be honest elise, she still loves him and didn't want him to get anything at all

funny thing is, her daughter is called elise

but that is the only case that I have been involved with, though not directly to the court

she's got a restraining order on him, he threatened her when she went to the police but i still reckon he'll get a fine and not much else, a right**t

punterfleecer - it might not matter in your experience, but it could matter here.

:: Maybe he punched her once to defend himself as she hit him around the head with a stiletto
:: Maybe he'd caught her in bed with six other blokes
:: Maybe she was a Liverpool fan

All of these reasons for hitting a bint would be perfectly understandable.

According to the original poster, this is not the case. But it could have been...

bodil - no. Luckily, I learnt my lessons about bints a long time before we ever got to the marriage stage!

I was just pointing out that the fella may have hit the girl after extreme provocation. Of course, he may also have hit the girl after no provocation - which seems to be the case here.

who knows? we can only rely on reputation

but I know the guy had a bad reputation, and was constantly**ging her off in front of us guys, but the girl loved it at times

so if it was down to me, and I had the Betfair court on me, I couldn't give a statement

after all this crap

the boy got away with a £200 fine cos he had a "new" girlfriend

he**ged the victim that night, and she has just now has twins, only last week i think, apparently she doesn't talk to the father any-more

but I don't know and I don't care, but she's a disgrace
