Yep, Waterloo Sunset is songwriting at its best.
Always feel that the Kinks are overlooked as one of the great bands in history. For my money, they have had a bigger influence on music than The Beatles.

They did a song called Do It Again in the 80s, as good as anything they ever did imo, still had it.
well maybe not waterloo, hard to better that by any band imo
