I own a dog...4 of 'em...all long haired chihuahuas...you can't have them, they're mine.
Report Slippy Blue November 27, 2009 9:11 PM GMT
We've had labrador, rough collie, greyhounds, border collie and would say without doubt our labrador was the best dog by far.

jackrussells are brilliant fun and, contrary to popular opinion, not yappy... providing they are properly exercised

otherwise, german shepherd, fabulous dogs when handled with affection :)

I have a Black Lab sat in front of me now.
A beautiful dog with a wonderful temperament.
Report Slippy Blue November 27, 2009 9:26 PM GMT
Ours was a black lab as well Gene, she was a truly great dog reached 17 which was a grand old age.
Report Rampant Rabbit November 27, 2009 10:18 PM GMT
black Lb.. lost mine recently.. I still have a brown one and a 12 weeks old Old English Sheepdog pup, which is georguous and naughty.. but black labs rule..

my daugher wouldnd let me get another too soon as it would have tarnished the memory of the late great Poppy

But support its Elie the Old English Sheepdogs gain!

Report Catford Toteboard November 27, 2009 10:36 PM GMT
Retired greyhound every time. Had three pass through Catford Halls so far and what wonderful pets they make. Two 20 min walks a day and 18 hours sleeping/throwing shapes on the sofa.
Good with kids but not cats and rabbits!
If your interested contact the Retired Greyhound Trust on 0844 826 8424 or look at their website at http://www.retiredgreyhounds.co.uk
They really do make great pets.
