Needed 50 A4 envelopes. Co-op didn't sell them, so went to Menzies. Place I normally avoid unless it's for a Racing Post, as I know it's expensive. A 5 pack of envelopes cost £1.55 = 31p per envelope. So, for 50 it would have cost me £15.50.
Eventually found a Pakistani newsagents selling 25 packs for £3.20, so ended up saving £9.10!

there isn't a John Menzies in a sizable town as Cumbernauld, I know it's **, but it has a mcdonalds, BK, KFC, ex-woolworths, next and so on

You're right. I googled it. Must be W.H. Smith, then. Used to be McColls.
