For some the treatment is effective.
Some finish up in prison without getting treatment. Many finish up in a twilght world in a flat on Incapacity Benefits, Housing Benefits, with large doses of medication keeping a lid on it, and a Community Psychiatric Nurse calling between meetings and courses. It is euphemistically called "Care in the Community". Too many are not getting the right treatment IMO. |

Very true, Mister E. It's the forgotten illness because it's often invisible to others. Even those who are aware of it often tell the sufferer to pull themselves together or offer advice based on ignorance. And that's just the doctors.
