We want to share an important update with our Betfair Community users.
Over the coming months, the Betfair Community platform will be winding down. The final active day for the platform will be December 21st. From December 22nd, users will no longer be able to access the platform.
Your discussions, insights, engagement, and, most importantly, feedback have helped shape the platform and guided innovation. Your feedback continues to be important to us, and we will continue to listen via our dedicated feedback channels, as well as through product testing and innovations.

No, it ruins lives. Not only the sufferers, but their families also. Hope it never happens to anyone you love.

For some the treatment is effective.
Some finish up in prison without getting treatment. Many finish up in a twilght world in a flat on Incapacity Benefits, Housing Benefits, with large doses of medication keeping a lid on it, and a Community Psychiatric Nurse calling between meetings and courses. It is euphemistically called "Care in the Community". Too many are not getting the right treatment IMO. |

Very true, Mister E. It's the forgotten illness because it's often invisible to others. Even those who are aware of it often tell the sufferer to pull themselves together or offer advice based on ignorance. And that's just the doctors.
