The electricity is with British gas and the gas is with npower.
Want to combine into 1, am thinking of going with british gas for the lot and signing up to the energy smart thing where you manage the account online.
Anyone use this and have any comments about it? Or any other advice regarding switching suppliers?
I would freeze rather than be with British Gas, worst of the lot in my opinion
EON are the bets I found and you can pay online or DD which is cheaper
Had to go to energywatch twice in two years with BG and wasn't even a customer of theirs

As Tev says, you can find the cheapest package and switch it over. The site also tells you what sources the supplier uses for fuel (%age nuclear, coal, gas, cowsh1t etc) in case you give a toss.

I've changed back to Scottish Power after switching to Scottish Gas. You get different 12 digit numbers for Scottish Gas for gas and elecctric and there's lots of other numbers you have to make a note of when you're putting your meter readings into the online site. Also, they told me I'd save over £100 a year by putting my figures in online, but I didn't get any email prompts from them to read my meter and put the figures in, which meant that all my bills were estimates, and presumably I didn't get the rebate. That's why I switched back to Scottish Power. Scottish Gas & British Gas are the same. I'd avoid.

Agree with JJ. They're all dodgy. Bout time we got proper regualtaion for this industry. No other supplier of products/services can get away with such massive price increases several times a year, even Oil companies aren't as bad as these crooks.
